Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 13, 2021 9:20 pm Hi, Bit of an unusual situation, To comply with my estate guidelines I need to install a natural finished timber pergola for my new house being built. My builder has included a treated pine pergola to address this, I intend to paint this white six months post installation. If I intend to paint the pergola white but need the treated pine protected during the first six months what would be the best product to use? Basically must allows easy paint over whilst protecting the timber etc. Thanks in advance , pic attached Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Advice needed on painting over stained treated pine 2Mar 15, 2021 9:32 am Bcr83 Hi, Bit of an unusual situation, To comply with my estate guidelines I need to install a natural finished timber pergola for my new house being built.
