FYI pretty sure their invoices are set up in the system and sent out automatically on certain dates. This is why they often don't marry up with what's actually occurring on site. I'm not sure how frequently they review their dates though. Anyway just be prepared for this to happen again, and never pay anything straight away until you're satisfied it's complete.

Just so you're all aware, you do have every right to not pay an invoice and I urge you to hold off however porter davis don't only define stages in our contracts by the traditional "definitions." They also apply a percentage to the definition....

So even though frame stage is not completed due to defects still being rectified they could argue 45% off the build is completed?
