Great to see any fellow builder with Coral in close proximity We're building in the Harvest Estate. It looks like we might have to wait a couple of more months then if your plans took that long! We started looking at bricks and tiles on the weekend - were very overwhelmed with the tiles though as there are so many choices! Doing colour selection on 5th July so need to have everything sorted before then! Will post our plans when I get around to it shortly. I'll also get around to checking out the general Coral thread when I have a bit of "spare" time lol.... Cheers. Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Thanks for letting me know how you're going with your build - sounds like things are going along quite smoothly for you, that's great. Our plans were only lodged with the Certifier mid last week so think it will be a few weeks before we hear anything again! In the meantime though we are doing our colour selections etc. - a bit overwhelming, especially the tiles. Can't seem to attach house plan ATM however am having computer issues lol.... We've flipped the front from the original design as we prefer the garage on the LHS so that we can add a carport space down that side, also plan to put in a small pool, if not too much rock!, so side access is necessary. Hope all continues to motor along with your build. Re: BUILDING A CORAL HOMES COOLUM 30 (MODIFIED) IN NSW 7Jun 06, 2016 12:18 pm baybabe Becs Coral Hi Baybabe. Welcome. Ours have taken a bit longer as we have an electrical easement that needed to have plans sent off to ausgrid as well. If yours are straight forward then things should be pretty quick. Just got notification that they are back with corals certifiers who should be drawing up their Authority to commence construction Certificate today. Hopefully we will hear back soon for a start date. Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Following along baybabe Haha I'm on another coral thread Von can't help myself, coral floor plans are so nice Re: BUILDING A CORAL HOMES COOLUM 30 (MODIFIED) IN NSW 10Jun 14, 2016 7:36 am michaelandkaty1 Hi. We are building at Waterford. How are things travelling? Hi there. Our plans are currently with the Certifier - nearly 2 weeks now. Coral contacted us last Thursday to say they needed to reposition the home on the block as it was too close to the sewer line at the back. Am hoping that doesn't delay things too long! Otherwise, we spent Saturday finalising internal tiles - a bit of a daunting process and then looking at houses built in the bricks we are considering. Had a phone call from our "new neighbour" on one side on Sunday just touching base and you wouldn't believe it but they've chosen the same Colorbond roof colour and brick as us! What are the chances lol.... Might look at changing our brick colour to a slightly different one as I don't particularly want us to be "twins". They aren't using the same builder but still.... Hope your plans are going OK. We went into Waterford on Saturday and saw quite a few Coral Homes under construction Re: BUILDING A CORAL HOMES COOLUM 30 (MODIFIED) IN NSW 11Jun 14, 2016 8:13 am charlibear vonsta76 Hi baybabe, looking forward to seeing your plans and selections. Coal is telling us once they receive that we should be able to get a start date. We also are building a Coolum but it a modified 24. Would love to see your plan? Did you make my changes? I to was a little overwhelmed with the tile selection. But once that is out of the way it gets a lot easier. Have you an idea on what colour you are after? . Re: BUILDING A CORAL HOMES COOLUM 30 (MODIFIED) IN NSW 18Aug 05, 2016 6:17 am Hi baybabe. How are things coming along? We are in the early stages of planning a modified coolum 30 too. But it will be an acreage style house, so will pretty much be completely unrecognisable. I think the only 2 rooms left untouched are the garage and the media room lol. Please post an update Re: BUILDING A CORAL HOMES COOLUM 30 (MODIFIED) IN NSW 19Aug 05, 2016 9:20 am Tamara1975 Hi baybabe. How are things coming along? Re: BUILDING A CORAL HOMES COOLUM 30 (MODIFIED) IN NSW 20Sep 16, 2016 2:41 pm Hi Baybabe, How is everything coming along? Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13769 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish.
