Or was that a $200 privilege? @Orph Build thread: viewtopic.php?t=78328 Home Furniture: viewtopic.php?t=80551 Technology Hub: viewtopic.php?t=83663 Landscape Design: viewtopic.php?t=80645 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 107Jul 06, 2016 8:09 pm I know the $200 thing is with Beaumont here in Vic. Not sure otherwise Re: Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 108Jul 06, 2016 8:39 pm kylz4 I know the $200 thing is with Beaumont here in Vic. Not sure otherwise I would love to use Beaumont and pay the $200 fee. They do have a wide range of tiles. I don't mind paying a small fee to double our choice... @Orph Build thread: viewtopic.php?t=78328 Home Furniture: viewtopic.php?t=80551 Technology Hub: viewtopic.php?t=83663 Landscape Design: viewtopic.php?t=80645 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 109Jul 06, 2016 8:40 pm Our choice was extremely reduced if we didn't pay that $200! They had about 4 or 5 pre selected combos that you could have and you couldn't swap anything! Re: Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 110Jul 06, 2016 9:34 pm Even if you go to Beaumont they have certain tiles that you can choose from. They have a coloured dot on the ones that you can have and we struggled to find the ones with a dot on!! Everything's an upgrade Re: Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 111Jul 06, 2016 9:38 pm The ones with dot are included but you can order any if willing to pay upgrade lol Re: Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 113Jul 06, 2016 10:10 pm I met the rep from national tiles today, he was the one who gave me the info about the supplier, he had also previously worked for DL. We also would of loved Beaumont for our tile selections but got lucky with our selections at the studio, although we did have to pay a pretty hefty upgrade price Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 114Jul 06, 2016 10:17 pm glendale41 Hey Q, 1st thing I'm doing after handover is replacing the colorbond fence with the modern colorbond fence which is available now and I will put up some outdeco screening with a coloured backing, not sure what colour backing yet something nice and bright I heart ( was trying to use emoji but it turned out to be heavy black heart Lol ) your kitchen and pool idea is an understatement . Do you have a photo of this Morden colour bond you are talking about ? I really don't like colourbbond but have no choice as that's developer requirement . Trying to think of ways to make it looks better ! Have you thought about using laser cut screens to cover over the colorbond fencing, I used a brand called outdeco a few years ago, I think it looks pretty cool especially when you put a backing with lights behind it, Outdeco is made up of compressed hardwood sawdust, it can be painted or left the way you buy it, it is fairly expensive though from memory it is about $90 for 1 panel which is 600mm x 1200mm. Hope that helps Re: Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 119Jul 07, 2016 7:06 pm Awesome + 1 @Orph Build thread: viewtopic.php?t=78328 Home Furniture: viewtopic.php?t=80551 Technology Hub: viewtopic.php?t=83663 Landscape Design: viewtopic.php?t=80645 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Metricon Glendale 41 Our Journey 120Jul 07, 2016 8:28 pm Choosing tile sounds fun, I'm looking forward to our Studio Appointment in next week. We have been to the tile studio a few times but everything we want is an upgrade. Does anyone have a view whether glossy tiles are actually more slippery than natural tiles? We are thinking of whether to use natural tiles in wet areas because of that cause the display homes have the glossy ones for all areas and they do look quite nice Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde NSW viewtopic.php?t=82846 Build thread: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde, NSW Any advice on how to ensure the kit home granny flat that im thinking of buying will get council approval.
