Yay they are saying drafting takes 4 weeks and that scheduling is another 4-6 weeks.. How long did everyone take in these stages? Just wanting to get a gauge on how long until earthworks. Also our prestart consultant emailed us saying the designer kitchen stove has been discontinued but we will be getting one that looks the same just with a different model number, is this something we should be looking into? Has Home Group tried pulling swifties on anyone? Our Home Group build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83475 Re: Building our first home in Wandi - Home Group WA 48Sep 12, 2016 3:41 pm Beautiful choices. Do you mind if I ask your extra pre start costs. Im getting a tad nervous that I'll blow the budget on ours. We have put alot in already on the plans but after stalking H1 posts my "must have or I will die Wishlish has exploded" My poor hubby........ will have to remind him, "happy wife, happy life" Stilettos & Bricks -our Building Journey Blog https://stilettosbricks.com viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85183&hilit=secret+harbour Re: Building our first home in Wandi - Home Group WA 50Sep 12, 2016 4:02 pm ms_prez Beautiful choices. It goes so fast ours went ahead of schedule I think! So I'd say 4 weeks And your earth works will start ? Wow how exciting Paishe!!! That's so good to hear bet you are over joyed to start seeing progress! I can't wait to see something happen on our block - I'm so guilty of constantly going down to look at it knowing nothing has changed ha ha! We would like our bathrooms tiled to the ceiling also wanting to add shower recesses, waterfall benches to kitchen, cornice upgrade and light switch upgrades. Did you do any of them in your selections? Did you do any of them in your selections? Our square mixers, laundry tap and kitchen tap were all standard selections Bath spout - $30 Dual shower head - $270 We didn't tile to the ceiling but full height tiling of the shower was quoted at $257 A bench step in the ensuite shower was quoted at $220 We didn't upgrade waterfall benches or cornices and I wanted to ask about the light switch upgrades but the OH said you can buy the face plates cheap from Masters/ Bunnings so if it was something we wanted we would do it ourselves! Hope this helps Our Home Group build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83475 Re: Building our first home in Wandi - Home Group WA 58Sep 14, 2016 10:22 am Lol I think you kinda have to be a bit over paranoid! It's so overwhelming with everything that you need to take in I had to watch my plans and quotes like a hawk. Waterfall ends are about $1500 each side, our pricing for full height tiling was: Bathroom $1843 Powder room $1371 Ensuite $3493 + $4128 for oversize tiles. And it was an extra $1738 to have all rooms tiling mitred. Cornicing was $1729 for all living areas & alfresco, just waiting on a requote for the whole house lol I'm learning very quickly that nothing is free or cheap Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: Building our first home in Wandi - Home Group WA 59Sep 14, 2016 12:41 pm Wow, tiling prices are crazy!!!!!
