I like Henley homes too, spacious design and their quality inclusions. May I know the ceiling height of your two floors? It looks high. I've been to their display centre at Berwick waters amd forgot to measure the ceiling height of their Emperor 48. I'm thinking whether 2.59m on each floor is good enough, rather than 2.7m on ground floor then 2.59 to first floor - probably will take longer to heat the entire floor. Did you have to remove the existing shelves in the WIR and the hanging rod? I'm thinking to do it as well after handover as it is very expensive to include in the build. Thanks Re: Building Mainvue Aegean430 - 45sq in Berwick Waters 287Sep 30, 2018 6:09 pm Melbournevic Aegean430, beautiful home. I like Henley homes too, spacious design and their quality inclusions. Hi MelbourneVic, Yes my ceilings are as high as I could go, I think it adds tremendous value in a larger sized house, it feels so grand. So our downstairs is 2.7m and upstairs 2.54m from memory. Definitely do if you can. Re: Building Mainvue Aegean430 - 45sq in Berwick Waters 288Sep 30, 2018 9:47 pm Melbournevic Aegean430 Narrewarren01 Looks very good who did your wardrobe. I had them remove any fittings, for a credit of around $500 then did IKEA ones myself. We have just signed our initial plan last week, upgraded the ceiling from 2.4m to 2.59m to first floor but we did downgrade the ceiling from the already included upgrade of 2.79m to 2.59m to ground floor. We have $1700 credit from it but while doing some price research it's really expensive to upgrade to 2.7m so the credit that we got is not really worth it. I have contacted our Sales consultant this week and thankfully, they have allowed us to change it back to 2.7m to ground floor. All doors to ground floor are 2.3m height as part of their standard plan. Re: Building Mainvue Aegean430 - 45sq in Berwick Waters 290Oct 04, 2018 1:56 pm Aegean430, Too late for us as we have already finalised our drawings but good to know, we won't be upgrading them on our studio appointment. I can just add cabinetry from Ikea which can save us heaps.
