Have you been moved to construction yet? I'm seeing a lot of Henley banners down our stretch of south east Victoria. Fingers crossed for next week. How are you travelling? Our MainVue Aegean 430 Yep, fingers crossed you receive your approval shortly and than good to go for construction (exciting). We have tender this Thursday (woohoo). So we'll see what the damage is. Our lovely admin Steph has also managed to book our contract for the 3rd of Sept. We've been having a discussion and depending on the tender may request to change the house to the AG432. Good luck with tender & it's good contracts are so quick afterwards. So the 432 is the 46sq which is similar to the 38sq floorplan? Our MainVue Aegean 430 Re: Building Mainvue Aegean430 - 45sq in Berwick Waters 109Aug 15, 2017 4:39 pm Yep, the 432 is a bigger version of ours. Only reason why we didn't go with it in the first place was being a corner block we needed a 2m setback but speaking to our admin we can fit it with minor modifications. Have you contacted the council to see what stage your application is at? The 432 is a bit different to our 430, just the laundry & butlers I think. The size of the stairwell window is 2.7m high x 1.2m wide. Here is the floor plan. Can wait to watch your house take shape. Love your alfresco and extended garage. Re: Building Mainvue Aegean430 - 45sq in Berwick Waters 115Aug 17, 2017 8:58 pm Thanks Firsttime, me too! We're getting quotes on putting a swimspa in that gap between the alfresco & garage, which got me thinking about the hideous 70s rear roller door that we'll be staring at so got a quote to change it to decowood kwila to match the front and was very disappointed at the $1,165 cost they came back with - for just a single! So now I'm struggling with whether the cost is worth it considering this will be our main outside entertaining space. I've asked my admin to escalate it to see if they can do better. Will see what they say. Re: Building Mainvue Aegean430 - 45sq in Berwick Waters 118Aug 18, 2017 3:14 pm Hi Vintay, It will depend on which facade you choose as to whether there is a setback for the third garage. I have chosen the escape facade and as standard, the garages would have been flush and the roof above it would have been flat but bc I asked for the third garage to be set back slightly, (so if there was a car parked in front of this garage other cars could get past) I had to change the roof to be pitched and this cost around $1,700 extra. Our MainVue Aegean 430 Did your SC or the tender team advise you on this? My third garage is step in the front but when I request the same for the back it was not allowed. Re: Building Mainvue Aegean430 - 45sq in Berwick Waters 120Aug 18, 2017 4:21 pm It was done at tender as that's when preliminary drawings are done. That's a bit weird that its at the front only, honestly I would be fine with it flush at the back, but wouldn't that then shorten the length of the garage? This option was never discussed, it was either flush front & back or set back front & back.
