If the admin stage is anything to go by eden brae will be in loooooong before us lol Nah it will be interesting to watch them progress together. I know what you mean, our old street was full of old people! and i mean the ones who built the houses!! they were great cos they were nice and quiet but it didnt have that real friendly neighbourhood feeling we would love.. so far so good for exploration st i say! _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 102Jun 07, 2016 2:12 pm The admin stage is the worst, I wish we were finished it already. Our neighbours at the moment is a really weird mix. Most of them don't interact with other people on the street, which is ok I guess, but next door are bogans on one side and old people on the other. Plus the bottom of the street is pretty rough. They didn't have them down when hubs went out on Tuesday. Yeah this wind is crazy! Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 106Jun 09, 2016 6:01 pm I think it might have been cos they were chopped at exactly the same spot .. so will need stump grinding as well. Thats the block between you and the eden brae _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 107Jun 09, 2016 6:02 pm It was so windy i actually felt sorry for the little trees hehehe _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 108Jun 10, 2016 4:46 pm Block is cleared! The guy said that there were logs left on our block from the people next to us who must have had theirs cleared either Wednesday or Thursday. He also said that they hit the box and knocked over our boundary peg. Hubs is out there now and I'll go out and look tomorrow. Our is 18m x 36m 650sqm which is the same as almost all the blocks on our street. Not sure what stage 5 prices were like but stage 4 was a decent price I think, especially compared to other estates like the ones at Boolaroo and Teralba. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 112Jun 12, 2016 1:08 pm how big did u choose to go in your home lovely Like meter squared. and did u put in any extra upgrades. just looking into tony and he seems to be 30,000 under big builders . His price seems unbeatable Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 113Jun 12, 2016 9:49 pm Not sure on our house size but its 4 bed 2 bath 2 garage. We're getting upgrades here and there, mostly in the kitchen & ensuite. Tony has fair prices, we're paying extra to have the house on bearers and joists rather then slab which is something no other builders offered. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 114Jun 16, 2016 1:21 pm My head is swimming in electrical plans! Our selections consultant said that we don't have to figure out our electrical until later in the process (when we do a walk around) but I'm just trying to figure out how many downlights we need in the living area. GRRR! Can't wait to be passed the admin phase! In other news, we decided on a real estate and she is coming out on Saturday to do pictures and drop off contracts. So I have some mad cleaning and styling to do before she comes over. I am a ball of stress and I have another cold, stupid winter. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 115Jun 16, 2016 1:26 pm Oh electrical, I still stare at mine still so many choices to make. Down lights, data points and extra power points. Its never ending. How exciting and probably a little emotional selling your house. All the best over the next few days. Thanks Mim, it's definitely going to be emotional, there have been a lot of memories in that house. But it's time for someone else to create some memories in it. I just hope it goes to someone who appreciates it. We were young first home buyers when we bought it and I kinda hope the buyer is in a similar point in their life. It was a good start for us and I hope it is a good start for someone else. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 118Jun 16, 2016 2:59 pm You will always have the memories, thats the best thing. As for lighting I think I am going to go to an expert at one of the lighting places as I am going to owner supply. Maybe the electrician might be the one to give you the best advice during construction. That probably why she didn't give much information.
