Its sooo frustrating watching the time tick by with no action at all. Do you know when their shutdown starts? _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Roof 442Dec 12, 2016 5:11 pm Update time. Our electrical/plumbing walk through was on Friday afternoon with Tony & our selections consultant. It went well I think, mostly just figuring out and confirming details. We got to ask a few questions and got a thorough update on what's going on which is good. The shutdown is from the 22/12 to 16/1 and Tony believes electrical and plumbing rough ins and the rest of the bricking will be done for before the shutdown ready to gyprock when they open up again. Tony thinks March is looking good for us. Fingers crossed. Also Eden Brae are officially moved in, the first on the street. Next door, Tony's other house, are due to move in this week. Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Roof 444Dec 12, 2016 6:12 pm Move in this week! Are you kidding me?! Last time i was there they hadnt even finished the front.. Damm im going to be number 3 to move in on the street.. unless you beat me which is possible! Lol Great news about the bricks! What colour are they called? _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Roof 445Dec 12, 2016 7:28 pm Looks like you might be number 3 not possible we'll be in before you haha. The bricks are called kalahari, it looks like they spent most of the day moving the bricks into smaller piles around the house so they can smash it out tomorrow I hope. Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Roof 446Dec 12, 2016 8:07 pm Good progress Kris... Electrical walkthrough is a good opportunity to compare the electrical plan with the build and the electrician might suggest few things from his experience... - I swing few doors the other way and didn't realise that put the switches behind the door..he highlighted that and asked me whether I am happy to move the switches to other side (yes please) - Pointed out a couple places where DPO are missing and will be required (added free of cost) - Changed hallway lights to two-way (which made sense) I would suggest to check the electrical plan again and again...it is easy and cheap to change electrical & pluming before the frames go-up... Post your electrical plan if you would like..happy to go through it (I love looking at electrical plans..haha)... Yeah that's the kind of thing we went over on Friday, it was mostly stuff like "if you're planning in having furniture in this spot then you should put the power point here", makes sense. Also I think the electrician is going to go over it to make sure it's all as it should be. Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Brick 450Dec 13, 2016 9:35 am I feel sorry for the builders today, 35*C and tomorrow is meant to be 37*C! Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Brick 451Dec 15, 2016 4:42 pm Plumbing rough in started today, cavity sliders built for the sliding doors, and left wall completed. Pretty good progress considering it's been raining all day Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Brick 452Dec 15, 2016 4:47 pm Awesome news! How are the brickies going? Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Brick 457Dec 22, 2016 5:30 pm Gosh they did well to get them finished today!! _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Brick 458Dec 22, 2016 6:38 pm I was hoping they'd get the garage door on so they could lock it up but they just took anything that could be knicked out instead. Except for their equipment. The front door is even off. I kind of hope they come back for their wheelbarrows and stuff tomorrow because the fence isn't secure. Although now there are people living in the street it might be ok. Re: Williams Designer Homes build, West Wallsend NSW - Brick 459Dec 23, 2016 9:24 am Oh my god you're bricked! Are you rendering?
