I think as long as we are in by mid Feb I'll be happy, hub's 30th is at the end of Feb and I'd really like to have his party at the new house. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 143Jun 21, 2016 2:47 pm Will you have internal things to do after handover? Or is tony doing everything? We debated whether or not to paint ourselves but after painting our little 2 bed I noped out of it. Maybe some small things here and there. I know hubs is going to run all the network cabling himself before the gyprock goes up. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 145Jun 21, 2016 3:33 pm Is there anything you're doing after handover? I guess I hadn't thought about it too much but if there are some easy things that we could do to save some money I'd be open to doing them. I've found myself to be handier than I thought in the last few months haha. We're definitely going to have to landscape ourselves but maybe we can take on some jobs inside too. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 146Jun 21, 2016 3:37 pm We are doing all internal flooring other then wet areas. Plus blinds, we are also organising our own drive way as well as all landscaping. So we are going to be rather busy I think. I figure I just mostly need to worry about the blinds in the master and then just do the others when we have time/money, we'll be the only ones living there for now so it doesn't matter too much when we get around to doing the other bedrooms.
