How do you know they are at council? Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 25May 26, 2016 1:08 pm Ditto to what Linen said! The council website is great, i knew everything before Coral even did lol and you can see all the documents they sent to council - which is good for your records. If you get a chance jump on the website and have a look you just have to put in a date range.. I always give it a couple of months and then just development applications and i look for west wallsend. _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 26May 26, 2016 3:30 pm I went on and had a little snoop around. Looks like they got council approval within 2 weeks, fingers crossed we have the same sort of time frame. It's cool to see what their exterior will look like, similar sort of design to ours but different colour scheme. I really hope they are cool people! Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 27May 27, 2016 9:14 am How the hell am I meant to pick carpet? I know I don't want a light colour that will get stained within a year and I know I don't want the sandy sort of colour we have or blue or anything. But that really only leaves grey and DH keeps saying too much grey grrr. Little rant to start the day. The annoying thing is the warehouse we have to go to is only open 8:30-5 Monday to Friday. DH and I both work full time so we have to leave work early again today to go look. Super annoying. Carpet is the first thing that has come up that we really have no clue what we want. It will suit pretty much any furniture and is neutral so you can add whatever colour/style you like! I'm a graphic designer and use grey in eeeeeverything lol. http://bellaviabuild.wordpress.com Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 30May 28, 2016 5:29 pm Oh and there are a lot of different greys too. Use warm greys to pick up on a more homely feel or cooler greys to go more modern. http://bellaviabuild.wordpress.com Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 31May 28, 2016 5:31 pm Carpet options with paint chip. I'm leaning toward the lighter one. Especially seeing as how quickly Holly fluffed up the dark one. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Laminate options with paint chip. I'm leaning towards the Spotted Gum (darker) over the Blackbutt (lighter) because it has some really pretty detail and doesn't look as washed out. I think the lighter timber looks a bit fake (from that photo anyway). http://bellaviabuild.wordpress.com Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 33May 28, 2016 5:36 pm Yeah that is the way I'm leaning too. The darker timber has knots and pattern variations which I really like. And the darker carpet shows off my dog's fur already and she only sat on them for 5 minutes. I'd be vacuuming everyday if we had that haha. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 34May 28, 2016 5:37 pm You definitely do NOT want to be doing that lol. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 35May 28, 2016 5:42 pm I wished the photo showed off the colours better, the pictures are a bit dark. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 36May 28, 2016 5:58 pm I agree with both of you, lighter carpet, darker timber Spotted gum is beautiful - it would be my choice if I was laying a timber or laminate floor. We have dark carpet atm and it shows up everrrrry bit of fluff. Wouldn't go dark again. Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 37May 28, 2016 6:19 pm Yep i agree with everyone else.. light carpet and dark timber. What an adorable dog!! _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 38May 28, 2016 8:39 pm Thanks, that's Holly the Collie Re: Building in Appletree Grove NSW with Williams Designer H 40May 28, 2016 8:59 pm Ooo what's your first two vonsta76?
