And not having sand is fantastic. My son works for TDL and he did a fantastic job of the front. Looking forward to seeing your build. Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 106Sep 21, 2016 2:24 pm Just wondering, did you all use the same size cabinetry handles throughout your kitchens or did you change the size to suit the different size drawers etc? Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 We had slightly larger handles on our drawers. Love our overheads without handles. We're sorry we didn't go all handles horizontal. We missed it at Prestart and they wouldn't let us do it. Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 108Sep 22, 2016 8:51 pm I agree with Robina, horizontal handles look great. I personally would keep them the same size & would leave them off on any overheard cupboards. I really want to leave them off the top cabinets, but I'm using black, so I think that would be never ending fingerprints lol Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 B & D's First build with HGWA 111Sep 22, 2016 11:05 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ speaking of fingerprints..... What stone have you chosen? We have all horizontal handles, at the top of the cupboards/drawers. We have three sizes but all the same style, one for cupboards and regular drawers, a middle length one for the wide drawers and an even longer on for the pantry doors. The pantry ones are the only ones mounted vertically for obvious reasons! We're having wood grain the the bathroom & I had to put it horizontal as well because I couldn't stand them not matching Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 114Sep 22, 2016 11:31 pm Wellard2ndTimers Might be fingerprints on top cupboards, good point we have a light colour wood grain so can't tell on ours. But everyone I know with patterned stone says you see marks on those as well, so I guess it doesn't really matter. I'll feel better when I can actually see it in front of me. Atm I'm so unsure, I showed my choices to an interior designer the other day & she loved them & said I had guts.... Lol I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing I'm so nervous about the exterior, but it'll be fine when it all gets going and I can get excited .
