Browse Forums Building A New House Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 21Jun 02, 2016 1:37 pm We've managed to put a majority of our upgrades into our main contract, all bulkheads, recesses, doors, kitchen appliances etc have all been done. But our sales rep wants all of the pre contract quotations signed off on, but my broker is saying not to sign anything else until drawings are provided. Its all getting so confusing lol Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 22Jun 02, 2016 2:02 pm We spent 4 months going back and forth with our sales rep getting pretty much all our upgrades put in first. I refused to sign anything until I was 100% happy with the design. We only had to do minor things at prestart - which worked out so much better for us. Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 23Jun 02, 2016 2:20 pm Yep we've been the same. Its so hard to plan when you have no idea how much different upgrades will cost at prestart. I think it should be pretty easy, but i'm sure it will still cost a small fortune. If anyone has any rough pricing they could share on the below it would be greatly appreciated * upgraded Della Vita square bathroom sinks * upgraded Della vita square bathroom taps * laundry and bin drawers * floating vanity cabinets * extra power points * plumbing to fridge recess * gas point to alfresco * triple cornicing Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 24Jun 05, 2016 6:30 pm dee13 Yep we've been the same. Pre contracts are all done & the block settled last week, so now just waiting for drafting & then prestart. We've found some floor tiles & we're going to pop up the the Laminex and Formica showrooms next week, so hopefully get an idea of what we want to be a bit organized Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 29Jun 26, 2016 1:06 pm Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 30Jun 26, 2016 3:04 pm Wow gorgeous floor plan!!
