Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 21, 2016 7:07 pm Hi, We are in the process of designing our new family home and have been told that having wood look tiles will be expensive as they are quite difficult and time consuming to lay and can cause problems if they are not correctly tiled with base having to be sanded down as the tiles can come bowed. Wondering what others opinions on these are please? how much extra where you charged? are you happy with them? The bigger the tile the harder to lay. We were looking at a 300mm x 1200mm wood look tile and it would have cost a fortune to lay as the tiler was concerned by bowing of the tile.
