Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 16, 2016 11:18 am Hi there, hoping someone can help...Long story short my partner and I have just signed off on our quotations and sketches on our new home. I picked up our contract to sign and the sales rep has told me he made a mistake with some of our doors. Our living area had wall to wall stacker doors on the display, but we were given the option to use normal sliding doors, that would still open with the same effect, we would just have slightly more wall at either side. Doing this was going to save thousands. Now we're told this isn't the case at all, the door will only open the same size as a normal sliding door & we have to use stackers at an extra $5000 . I'm just wondering, is there anything we can do even though we haven't signed the full contract, as we signed off on all of our initial costs when we have been misinformed? Take it up to senior management if required and see how they respond back in resolving your issue. |
