Waiting for our land to register and then waiting for Oracle to get the admin sorted, we are finally on site! We received our site start letter on Thursday. We were also advised that Terry (Jacko) is our SS and that Vivienne from the Cooranbong office will be sending us weekly updates of what has happened that week and what they plan to do the following week. We are absolutely over the moon and so excited to finally see the start of our home being built. They are starting the under slab drainage mid this week. Jacko is our SS also Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 44Jul 29, 2016 9:11 pm jacquie0492 There is one very important and special day that hasn't been included on our timeline. That day is 26th December 2015. The day Michael proposed to me. For months Michael had been saying that we should go out and have a picnic on our block of land. So when we woke up on Boxing Day and he said get ready lets go on our picnic, nothing really took me by surprise. When I was showering and getting ready he had packed the eski and the picnic basket (which he had bought specifically for this day) and had everything ready to go in the car. Once we got to the land, he set up the whole thing and didn't let me help, he even had a table and chairs (that he told me was for our bedroom alfresco when the house was done). After getting stuck in to the spread of cheeses, quince and fruit Michael started to reminisce about our last 4 years together and what going on this journey with me meant to him. He then got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course I burst into tears and said yes. We popped the bubbles and celebrated the whole day. That day set the foundations of our new home and what's going to be the next chapter of our lives together. There isn't anyone else that I would want to be going through this journey with. Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 49Aug 07, 2016 10:30 am So it doesn't look like much more than a mud pit but we had our under slab drainage/ plumbing done this week and we also now have an electricity box... Hopefully the rain will clear up and dry out the mud so we can get a slab soon. What stage of your build are you up to and who are you building with? Sorry, I'm a snoop haha I love the view, I have grown up surrounded by water so open fields is very different but I love it!
