We haven't been told who our SS is yet. Fingers crossed they know what they are doing and things pick up for all of us so we can get these homes built! It has taken all of the excitement out of it for everyone when it's getting dragged out the way it is. Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 4May 14, 2016 8:17 pm Hi Jacquie, Very nice floor plan and colour choices... Do you know where your clothes line going to be? Cheers, Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 6May 15, 2016 11:55 am RegVic Hi Jacquie, Very nice floor plan and colour choices... Do you know where your clothes line going to be? Cheers, Thank you We haven't got an exact spot in mind for the clothes line yet. My fiancé also wants to put in a small shed somewhere, so once the house has started and we can see what the backyard space is actually going to be we will plan it out along with landscaping. Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 7May 15, 2016 12:11 pm Jamielv LOVE all of your selections and floor plan, looks like an amazing kitchen Thank you Your house looks like its coming along now, I can't wait to get to that stage. Look forward to seeing the inside coming together. Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 8May 15, 2016 5:45 pm jacquie0492 RegVic Hi Jacquie, Very nice floor plan and colour choices... You need to consider the convenience and distance between your laundry and clothesline...It might make your life easier in the long run Cheers, Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 11May 18, 2016 7:06 pm Love your selections! We are having marengo stone benchtops in our scullery and back bench of our kitchen. Looking forward to following your build My Homeone Thread - Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 12May 19, 2016 8:08 am Thank you deejay08 and DreamHome2point0. I can't wait for it to start and see it all come together Re: Oracle Platinum Homes- Ascot 24 14May 20, 2016 6:15 pm There is one very important and special day that hasn't been included on our timeline. That day is 26th December 2015. The day Michael proposed to me. For months Michael had been saying that we should go out and have a picnic on our block of land. So when we woke up on Boxing Day and he said get ready lets go on our picnic, nothing really took me by surprise. When I was showering and getting ready he had packed the eski and the picnic basket (which he had bought specifically for this day) and had everything ready to go in the car. Once we got to the land, he set up the whole thing and didn't let me help, he even had a table and chairs (that he told me was for our bedroom alfresco when the house was done). After getting stuck in to the spread of cheeses, quince and fruit Michael started to reminisce about our last 4 years together and what going on this journey with me meant to him. He then got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course I burst into tears and said yes. We popped the bubbles and celebrated the whole day. That day set the foundations of our new home and what's going to be the next chapter of our lives together. There isn't anyone else that I would want to be going through this journey with.
