Lot 2066 Law Cres in Catherine Park Estate Building at Catherine Park 64Apr 03, 2017 6:22 am PinnyandDee Hey everyone We have just put a deposit down on Lot 3006 in Law Cres. We fell in love with Catherine Park. Very early days for us, feel like we are at the start of a long journey lol Look forward to hearing about your experiences as you go before us! Yay! Congratulations and welcome! We fell in love with Catherine park too! The only place that has convinced us to build (it helps that my kids go to the schools next door lol. Soooo convenient!) Iggz and joannapaulp are also on Law Crescent, you guys will have brilliant neighbourly relations before you even move in! I have been watching the sale of the new release. Law crescent blocks all went quick! Maybe because it's near the earlier releases? How long are you expecting it to be until the land registers? They seem to have sold this release earlier than the others in terms of how much work they have left to do on the land? majestic35.weebly.com Re: Building at Catherine Park 65Apr 03, 2017 1:19 pm Looks like lot 2066 in Law Cr from stage 2 has become available. Most lots in stage 2 have now gone from reserved to sold so we can expect a lot of activity with many starting construction most likely in the next 4 to 6 months. Re: Building at Catherine Park 66Apr 03, 2017 3:36 pm We chose Law Cres because it was the furthest away from Oran Park Drive, just in case traffic noise might ever be an issue. Stage 3 is expected to register May/June.....but we will see. Lot 2066 Law Cres in Catherine Park Estate Re: Building at Catherine Park 67Apr 03, 2017 4:27 pm Is that May/June this year - they have heaps of work to do to get it ready in the next two months, in November last year we were told Jan this year for our release, and we were effectively 'ready' with roads, kerbs, all services etc. Re: Building at Catherine Park 68Apr 03, 2017 4:35 pm Maybe you could transfer your deposit across to lot 2066, its slightly bigger than 3006 and already registered (and slightly further away from OPD as well) Re: Building at Catherine Park 69Apr 03, 2017 5:40 pm That's food for thought 😀 Lot 2066 Law Cres in Catherine Park Estate Building at Catherine Park 70Apr 03, 2017 7:04 pm Yes Good thinking about the road noise. We based ours on being far enough away from the school not to have cars parked everywhere but close enough for the kids to walk to. I don't mean to sound like a downer and Catherine park have been within 2 months of their past 2 estimates in regards to registration dates but our release had all but street signs in and we had a 2.5 month wait. I just don't see how they can do it in that time frame. I think you'd be lucky to see registration before September. (Bearing in mind I have absolutely no experience or qualification to make that estimate lol) I hope they do though majestic35.weebly.com Re: Building at Catherine Park 71Apr 04, 2017 5:46 am Well guess who is the new (potential) owner of Lot 2066????? Unbeknownst to me my partner was one step ahead and had already secured the deal!! Very happy to still be in Law Cres, and now we can move along quicker than previously planned Lot 2066 Law Cres in Catherine Park Estate Re: Building at Catherine Park 72Apr 04, 2017 6:51 am PinnyandDee Well guess who is the new (potential) owner of Lot 2066????? Just wondering what the valuation is like.. under or over... I have purchased a 3 bedroom off the plan for 699K due this May, so not sure if I will have issues will valuation. Re: Building at Catherine Park 75Apr 12, 2017 9:19 am No one on this forum is in yet as far as I'm aware. I have followed the private sale of at least 4 homes there though (4bed single storeys) that have sold for over $800k. How big is the land? As far as banks go though I wouldn't know. I don't think it will be an issue. We put deposit on land down a year ago and are hoping to be in by Christmas so you've definitely gone the quicker route. Very exciting for you! majestic35.weebly.com Re: Building at Catherine Park 77Apr 21, 2017 2:29 pm DA approval came in today!!!!! Happy weekend everyone! Can't wait till we can start on site. Re: Building at Catherine Park 79Apr 21, 2017 2:32 pm Through council, 4 weeks since we submitted, much quicker than the 8-12 they said when it went in. Re: Building at Catherine Park 80Apr 21, 2017 3:00 pm joannapaulp Through council, 4 weeks since we submitted, much quicker than the 8-12 they said when it went in. That's fantastic news! I was having a look at the 2nd release yesterday. Quite a few slabs down and some frames going up. A little depressing that some of the 2nd release will be finished before us though lol How long does your builder estimate until you're in construction? majestic35.weebly.com go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110592 |
