It might look flat but thats what these contour surveys are meant to confirm. We had a block of land that sloped about 1.5m from back to front and we thought it looked fairly flat - our site costs were about 25k for much of the same things you mention above. Looking at your report it looks like correct but only issue is they let you know at very last moment. I am not sure at what stage you are now but in my case after CDC got approved they raised this with me with the post contract variation... ![]() Re: Builder charging me 21k extra after Contour and Geotech 12Mar 04, 2016 11:50 am I think I shouyld ask them for fixed cost contract. I have got 2 free quote from Mozo homes and Mc Donald Jones to check if there is any extra site cost and they both gave me a quote with no extra site cost. If Elderton home agree to it I will ask them to put in contract as a Fixed cost no more to pay while construction start. this is the plan lets see. Re: Builder charging me 21k extra after Contour and Geotech 15Sep 19, 2016 12:44 am Hey Nitin just read through your post, we are considering elderton tonbuild our home, just wanted to know how it all went. It is true that a builder can ignore your independent inspection report as it is not part of the contractual arrangement but that is stupid because he cannot avoid fixing… 9 47430 ![]() Give "Holt Surveying" they are based around Eight Mile Plains 3 11790 ![]() |
