Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 06, 2016 5:46 pm While walking around my build today I noticed a pile of cut timbers stacked next to some stud walls. It looked damp around so I moved the pieces to find a bunch of mould growing. Obviously I can't inspect the underside of the bottom plate but the areas all around it are damp. Is this anything to be concerned about? The roof has been finished and the bricks are almost done. It's normal for frames to be out in the weather for a few months without much detriment. Pooling of water for long periods of time is the main thing to worry about. This certainly doesn't look good.
