My partner and I are very close to signing the contract on a house and land package place near Ipswitch, QLD.
We've paid a deposit on the place to hold it, and now are looking through the enormous mountain of pages that is the contract
(Separate land and house contracts with the developer and builder, but sold as a package)
Obviously we're very excited, nervous and slightly lost! We're combing through the contract and will be sending our solicitor questions about particular sections (because it would cost a fortune for her to comb through the entire contract, which is like 1000 pages long)
Is there anything we should be looking out for beyond what is in the contract? The place is a 'turnkey' property, meaning it comes with all fixtures and inclusions - has anyone had experience with this sort of thing, and care to comment?
Really appreciate it and looking forward to sharing progress and pictures on the forum
