Possibly a different tradesperson on site and surely someone must have known about it. Re: Spot the problem... 22Sep 08, 2008 1:57 pm Minx,
The issue is that the plumber will have installed it, and it is not deep enough. It should be at least 600mm deep if not more, so issues like this do not arrise. From the looks of the photo it is not that deep, hence the damage. If that's the case then yeah plumber did not install correctly. But yeah I spend a bit of time on building sites and see these bobcats in tight areas and fear the worst. Re: Spot the problem... 27Sep 08, 2008 10:43 pm DAH - Quality built for today and tommorrow! to quote their slogan!
After the build we've had, this didn't surprise us at all - in fact it just summed it all up. The plumber came and fixed it and chucked the wrecked one over the fence to the neighbours, hows that for a quality tradesmen!! Luckily it's nearly all over and we can forget them! Kaye. Re: Spot the problem... 28Sep 08, 2008 10:49 pm Perth_Euro Dispite all your issues Kiribilli the front elevation of your house looks very nice. (walked dog by the other day) Hi Timbo, Thanks for that, bit of a more traditional house, but thats us! The inside is coming along, just fixing up all the dogdy work, redoing tiling at the moment, we had them back and they made a worse mess, chips and cracks and laying the wrong tiles, so we are redoing ourselves. I think everything in the house has been done at least 3 times over. Still we're getting there and it will look great in the end.
