But I don't imagine so.. She advised me nothing was noted on my file re: the variation request (this is obvious as its not been done) - but she would follow up. lets see what happens. Re: First home in Byford - Homestart 54Jul 06, 2016 1:16 pm JUST heard back from Homestart about the double rebate front door frame issue....... Yep nearly a week to hear back from the client liason officer - still no response from the email i sent to the prestart lady I requested the variation request through (2 weeks since asking how it was progressing - and a month since confirming id like the variation request).. I was just told that to do the double rebated front door frame would come at a cost to me for - the frame, the removal of the frame, the removal and repair of all surrounding bricks.. As you can imagine, I was thrilled by this - told them no change and followed up with an email to show i was told 30 dollars to change door frame (long before there was even bricks at my house) ball is back in their court lets see what happens. Re: First home in Byford - Homestart 55Jul 06, 2016 1:36 pm Wow!! Such poor communication. Fingers crossed they come to the party. Your house is looking great by the way GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: First home in Byford - Homestart 56Jul 06, 2016 1:47 pm Yeah I am very disappointed thus far. The Sales lady I dealt with from the beginning was an absolute Gem, I read a lot of reviews about homestart and was a little skeptical, but she made that all okay. But now I am seeing what everyone else has said, and I hope its just a hiccup due to changeover of client liaison officers or something, I Guess time will tell. Thanks! its coming up so quickly i hope it keeps powering through haha - Hows your place going? Re: First home in Byford - Homestart 57Jul 06, 2016 1:58 pm Fingers crossed its just a lack of communication between changing liaison officers. Hopefully it doesn't stop the build. We got our final plans back yesterday, not much had changed just the front elevations and floor mounted mixer for the free standing bath and replacing a wall with a timber screen. I've posted the elevations on my thread and will add the updated floor plan GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: First home in Byford - Homestart 59Jul 12, 2016 2:41 pm That's great they have admitted that it was their mistake and will honour the price. Your house is looking great!!
