I want to see some internal pics!!! =P Re: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde NSW 382Sep 30, 2017 5:20 pm We dropped by the house today but since we haven’t received our lock up invoice, we knew there was still the side garage metal roof yet to be done. (Can’t really ‘lock up’ if there is still a big hole in the garage roofing) Our front balcony door has finally been installed which is a good sign that the balcony area is being done. There’s also some colorbond cladding onsite which should go on the outside of the balcony facade. Hopefully after that, our scaffolding will come off and we can start some interior work Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Metricon Liberty 45, Ryde NSW http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=82846 Build thread: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde, NSW Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde NSW 384Oct 08, 2017 11:07 am If we didn’t look closely enough, we wouldn’t have noticed any work being done this week: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The colour bond roofing above part of the garage and the capping on the edges of the facades are done - expecting to get the lock up invoice from M soon In the meantime, we started looking at blinds and got a quote from Luxaflex which was quite high but cheaper than Lovelight through M. Given a limited budget, we’re thinking of going for simple rollers but even they are expensive (especially the sunscreens). We did like the colours though: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Metricon Liberty 45, Ryde NSW http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=82846 Build thread: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde, NSW Re: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde NSW 387Oct 08, 2017 11:52 am Orpheus I like pebble colour Orph the pebble is a see through screen. Usually that goes on first then the other on top for blockout. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde NSW 388Oct 08, 2017 12:19 pm It’s looking fantastic QM. Geez it’s a difference is speed between brick and hebel build isn’t! (Guess I could slip in on weekends but have to climb over my own fence) But will definitely want a site visit pre-lining, and after the insulation is in (but before gyprocking). The independent inspector went on Friday to do the pre-lining inspection so we will know the results early this week. It will be interesting once the front pylons are rendered and cladding in the front balcony goes in as to whether we picked the right colour combos. I’ve been told that they won’t do brick infills unless they can lay at least three rows of bricks between the ceiling and the window/stacker door. The other thing we could have done (but now it’s too late for us) is to have taller stacker doors. When we raised the height of our first floor we forgot to raise the height of the stacker door as well Kandi, a stacker door without brick infills looks like this: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ (See the part above the stacker door and eaves.)
