I popped down yesterday to see and they have started prepping for paint next week and our tiles have also been delivered so thats exciting! Builder says about 5-6 weeks but we will see, Im thinking more like early mid oct Re: New Acreage build - LOCK UP! 49Aug 30, 2016 11:23 pm Aaaah - I can't wait until we're 5-6 weeks out! ....it will be worth it for both of us! Re: New Acreage build - LOCK UP! 50Aug 31, 2016 2:02 pm Hopefully we have collected some of that rain we had last night! Went and had a look on monday and the ceilings and cornices had all been painted, should be finished by the end of this week and mod next week the tilers should be starting. Really getting at the pointy end now! Still so muck to do at our current house and not enough time in the day. Im driving to junee tomorrow to get our driveway trees and anything else that takes my fancy, they have fruit trees at $15 so i think a few of those will be coming home with me too Re: New Acreage build - LOCK UP! 51Sep 02, 2016 9:29 am Golly - Junee! that's a fair trip Must be worth it! thankfully we are living in a friends house with all our goods in storage - so that part I won't have to deal with! Hope the tree buying went well! Re: New Acreage build - LOCK UP! 52Oct 28, 2016 4:21 pm I haven't been in here in ages! I can't see the last pics you posted but from what I can see everything is looking great! I like your backyard fencing, how are you with snakes? We've had 2 browns already including one in our frickin house (I'm sure DH left garage door up all day and it slid in when it got the chance). Now I'm obsessed with getting our backyard snake proofed (we did a chicken wire fence). $171 a roll of 30m snake wire in Wodonga, I'm investing in 3 rolls what driveway trees did you get? I'm in the process of planting mine at moment! There is soooooo much to do on acreage, never stops 1 4581 1 4695 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17590 |
