We are building a large single story home ... - I have dust mite allergies and one of my children has asthma - we currently have an 11 yr old Dyson with a HEPA filter which I use fortnightly for my big clean. It is still going strong but I'm sure will need replacing soon enough and a handheld rechargeable Dyson that I use daily. Do you think a ducted system performs as well as a Dyson on carpets in removing all the fine particles and dust, I think it's great that the exhaust is outside but have never had a problem with the Dyson.? I am worried of the whole 'getting something stuck on the tube thing" is this really a problem? Do you think the hose will be a PITA to vacuum around and it will mark my walls? ...
