Cat 1 tiles looked good Re: Dream Home - Glendale 45 124Apr 16, 2016 6:24 pm We will be opting to go external for flooring. Have a tiler who is reasonable and have dealt with him before for current house. And sourcing carpets externally as well. Gathering quotes for driveway and portico as well. Re: Dream Home - Glendale 45 126Apr 16, 2016 6:31 pm vintay68 Which part of Melbourne are you in. I'm also sourcing for drive way. In Melbourne East Re: Dream Home - Glendale 45 127Apr 16, 2016 6:37 pm JNT_Glendale45 vintay68 Which part of Melbourne are you in. I'm also sourcing for drive way. In Melbourne East Good if you find one JNT (driveway) we'll be looking for a concreter for pathways later Re: Dream Home - Glendale 45 130Apr 16, 2016 6:59 pm Really? I feel like going for the cheaper option n changing it later. We are going to do our own stain for the stairs. Something to look forward to next week Emmz, you should also ask m if you find similar priced tiles which are not part of the cat 1 range can you get it instead? I am gonna ask them that too. I will ask them this. I will give you an answer Saturday. I will try and take hundreds of pics and get a lot of info to share with everyone booked in with Beaumont. 2.5 hours to decide which tiles!! No pressure @ all Dream Home - Glendale 45 134Apr 16, 2016 7:17 pm JNT_Glendale45 We will be opting to go external for flooring. Have a tiler who is reasonable and have dealt with him before for current house. And sourcing carpets externally as well. Gathering quotes for driveway and portico as well. We paid $79 m2 for coloured driveway with Metricon. So compare it to this price. Our driveway was part of our package up to 35m2. So we paid additional 22m2 So total cost was $4424 for a 56m2 driveway. I thought this may help. For footpath around whole home minus front further $2500 If anything is cheaper than this go for it. Thanks Emmz that's really helpful. The guy I contacted said 4-5k for aggregated driveway and plain concrete for entry and portico.
