Since the limited edition of Metricon is back on promotion just curious to know the major differences in the two builds. The drop in price is almost $25k for Glendale 42 which is a very big amount.
Is there a restriction that you need to add?

Re: Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 2Apr 08, 2016 9:30 am I've found that when you add on their promotion $17,490, and re add the things they left off it works out to be the same price. Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 3Apr 08, 2016 9:32 am Changes are to Ensuite, kitchen, powder room. There could be more I don't know of. Re: Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 5Apr 08, 2016 11:20 am No you don't have to get it Re: Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 8Apr 10, 2016 10:22 am The main differences I found were to be not big. The vanity and shower in master are a little different. Some of the dimension mentioned on LE brochure are a little misleading (ex;Family area). The attached value pack appears to be a rip off. The pack available for Normal Glendale is a lot better. Compare $8,990 to $17,990 (G45). Limited E pack does not include - Soft Close Pot drawers, Driveway,Garage remote,Tiled shower base to ensuite, Freestanding bath. In spite of all these missing the price of pack is doubled!!. I read somewhere you can't add the $8,990 pack to LE. If LE is option, then it appears that better not to add pack and work it around. Re: Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 9Apr 15, 2016 6:23 pm I think brick infills to side and rear elevation are standard with the Glendale but Limited Edition includes fibre cement sheeting above windows and doors Re: Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 10Apr 16, 2016 1:16 am I don't think i really noticed that difference to the powder room. Oh well, that one is ok, i can let it slide haha, i'm ok with my floating vanity there Differences i noted were the appliance bench in kitchen being shorter and the ensuite having single vanity and shower orientation/size different. The family room has a wall bulkhead thing built into the alcove too that the LE doesn't have. The cement infills are only to single story portions of the house, i.e. alfresco, dining, rumpus, rear garage door... Re: Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 11Apr 16, 2016 9:30 am I think it's just a smaller vanity looking at the drawings. Re: Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 14Apr 24, 2016 11:35 pm We paid $1166 to add brick infills to the rear windows, and then ended up with another $333 when we changed the rear garage door to a roller one. The internal garage door was included in our Limited edition version. Maybe check with them, if you had to add it i don't think it would be all that much!? Re: Glendale Ltd Edition Vs Glendale (Normal) - Differences 15Jul 17, 2016 11:55 am I've been trying to work out the differences too. We noted some small differences in measurements - the rumpus room was all walls as opposed to having an opening between rumpus and family. I've got to sit down with the plans and work it all out.
