Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 06, 2016 1:17 pm Hi again We are considering (or not) having underfloor heating installed for the new house. We were under the impression this was quite expensive to install, but thought now is the time to ask the question and rule it in or definitely out * Have you installed underfloor heating to your tiles living areas? * Did you get supply only or did you have it fully installed? *What is the cost per sq mt My son is an electrician so considering supply only and have him install. We are having a custom build so this will be ok with the builder. Thanks in advance for any replies Re: Underfloor heating costs 2Apr 06, 2016 7:11 pm 14k was my last quote. New system that takes 1 hour to heat up vs the old 24hours Re: Underfloor heating costs 5Apr 06, 2016 8:33 pm I didn't go with it but was approx 160sqm of area. They screed it once the frame is installed therefore it only heats up 90mm of concrete vs a whole slab. Running costs are minimal for what u get 1 10131 Does anyone have a suggestion for a good hydronic in slab heating speacialist who may be able to help me with an existing system and wether or not it may need a seperator… 0 4882 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13098 |
