Re: Fairmont Homes Adelaide Custom Build 22Apr 26, 2016 9:45 am Electrical and Direct Interiors selections done Friday. So far the damage has been contained although Direct Interiors was a bit more than I planned. The ClipSpec appointment was well worth while for electrical selections. Considering it doesn't cost anything it was really helpful. Allow 2 hours though as I was pretty organised but had only allowed 1 hour, the consultant had to finish up without us. viewtopic.php?t=82566 Re: Fairmont Homes Adelaide Custom Build 23Apr 26, 2016 9:53 am A few of the selections Front Door Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Internal doors Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Door Handles Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Kitchen Island Mixer Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Kitchen Island Sink Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Bathroom Vanity Basins Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Bathroom Floor and Wall Tile (sorry for the poor photo) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ viewtopic.php?t=82566 Re: Fairmont Homes Adelaide Custom Build 24Apr 26, 2016 10:55 am Containing the damage is the name of the game!! Like those internal doors! How were the standard/inclusive selections? Any areas lacking where you were forced to get something else? Re: Fairmont Homes Adelaide Custom Build 25Apr 26, 2016 11:17 am hillbuilder Containing the damage is the name of the game!! Like those internal doors! How were the standard/inclusive selections? Any areas lacking where you were forced to get something else? Thanks Hillbuilder! I think we got lucky on the doors as the ones we wanted, and were in the quote, didn't come in 2340h so they upgraded us the the balmoral range. The standard inclusions are not too bad, particularly with the bathroom bonus if you managed to snag that. We upgraded the toilets to wall faced which was Exxy but that was something we thought we wouldn't change in the future. (a note for anyone else thinking of doing this, get the Wall tiling at the back of your WC/powder room toilet included in your quote as we will get hit up for a variation to do this ~$100 per toilet) Door handle upgrades didn't break the bank and we could have stuck with what we had in the quote but liked the ones we chose better. The standard tiles are fine unless you are looking for a specific look. The towel rail, toilet roll holder are pretty plain but something that we can change at a later date once funds permit... Re: Fairmont Homes Adelaide Custom Build 26Apr 26, 2016 11:40 am We did snag the bathroom bonus.....and I just learnt what a 'wall faced dunny' is! Re: Fairmont Homes Adelaide Custom Build 27Apr 26, 2016 8:49 pm Lovely selections, I like your front and interior doors. Fairmont Homes Adelaide Custom Build 28May 02, 2016 10:18 am Supreme Kitchens selections done. Managed to curtail further hemorrhaging. I was quite surprised as I thought we would go way over. Our sales consultant had actually allowed enough in most areas which is a small surprise based on last weeks experience.
Kitchen inspo pics, which we based our design on plus the kitchen showroom in Supreme Kitchens as you walk straight in, including how they had the pot drawers and spice racks alongside the oven. Will be good to see how that all comes togather! Re: Fairmont Homes Adelaide Custom Build 31May 12, 2016 11:33 pm Remember SAPN take 6 -10 weeks to abolish the connection. The gas didn't take as long. In most cases you have to prove these have been done before the demo company will schedule you in. Using my LG-G4 to bring you this update. Thanks twin_dad, we have SAPN booked for first week of June so it was about a 4 week wait. Gas should be about the same time based on 20 business days. I would hesitate at saying Monday but maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. viewtopic.php?t=82566 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature.
