Conduit?to run from projector across ceiling to front wall?? Re: Casaview Homes 382May 31, 2017 3:16 pm linniez88 Casabuild Hi liveoz, They told us the reason for this is availability of selections. I'd be p***ed if I chose my brick only to find it's not available 6 months later especially since I only liked one option in the standard selections. Imagine having to re-do all your colours because of a brick or your kitchen because of a stone top selection... I also think they can control costs better, if you're waiting up to 18 months for registration like some areas do, there would ultimately be some increase in price of goods. Also un-registered land may ultimately effect the build. You may find the dwelling needs to be shrunk or if you're lucky increased (pretty rare). It would be a lot of double handling. Can I ask which design you're going with? Casabuild liveoz I agree with Casabuild. There are also problems with discontinued products....imagine you pick everything they it's no longer available. There is a logical reason for the wait...however I totally understand the burn. what you are able to do is go visit the brick place, the kitchen place and have a look at what's within the selection so you can get samples and start playing around with colour schemes. This makes for a much more efficient process when it comes to selection as you know whats out there and what you want or don't want. linniez88 hi im new to the forum and will be building with casaview in the next 6 month. We are getting a Suprema Austin D undermount sink - http://www.suprema.com.au/kitchen_xx1.asp?rid=2&cid=11&uid=99 But we are installing it as a top mount, with the sink mixer through the 40mm Caesar stone bench top. Reason for top mount is cause its a little bit cheaper but still gives it the clean flush look with more bench top space. Also some reports say the under mount with the exposed polished stone edge can get chipped if your not too careful with cookware. And at our place things do get banged around The undermount is a nice look. But top mounts looks good too. Plenty of pics online for you to check out. Im building with Casaview homes. We have signed off on our prelim plan and doing all our colour selection and waiting for the estimator to give us the quote. Has anyone upgrade any of these items and would know the estimated price? 1. upgraded ceramic tiles to porcelain 60x60 tiles? 2. Add extra zones to the ducted aircon? 3. Render the feature wall facade? 4. Polymere shutter blinds? Has anyone asked for credits on the carpets upstairs and did their own flooring? Im wondering if Casaview would give us the certificate of occupancy if we dont have flooring. Also is anyone going through CDC approval? How long does CDC approval take? Thank you.
