Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 19, 2016 1:40 pm We have recently bought a lot in Sydney with a North-West frontage with views of the mountains at the front of the lot. Dimensions are 14 wide x 34 depth. There is a 2 mtr slope from I understand that the orientation of this lot would mean that backyard, living area and kitchen will face south-south east, which is not ideal for Sydney especially during winter. We prefer lots of sunlight in the house, especially in living area where we spend most of the time. I am looking for some tips on how to make the house more livable in terms of keeping it warm during the winter. So far we have struggled to find a project builder design that suits this lot. We liked Mojo homes Enigma design but not sure if this is ideal. Is there anything we can do to the following design by Mojo Homes to make it suit our lot to benefit from passive heating?
