I`ll take a pic of it today to show you what`s wrong with this one. SS came over yesterday to go through our maintenance list and he said that he will be back early next week to complete... I just want the house finished! Has anyone been back for your maintenance list? My Homeone Thread - Re: Hunter Valley Build -Post Handover Journey Begins :) 922Apr 18, 2017 1:04 pm Still waiting for someone to come back for maintenance...SS was meant to come last monday but didn't show up. I'm not even sure if he still works for the company anymore. On the up side we have been working hard to get the front retaining finished... This is bs 😣 I'll have to contact oracle AGAIN tomorrow. My Homeone Thread - Re: Hunter Valley Build -Post Handover Journey Begins :) 926May 10, 2017 1:33 pm Still no word from Oracle in regards to maintenance list...Our original SS has left the company and the replacement SS for him left within 2 weeks 😅 Anyways the actual people living int he house (us) have been working hard and ticking boxes ✅✅✅ Hubs and I (mostly hubs) have finished off some screening and bench seating for the alfresco, and after searching far and wide for an outdoor table to fit the space we decided to build one ourselves out of recycled pallets. Pics are in the way ☺ My Homeone Thread - Re: Hunter Valley Build -Post Handover Journey Begins :) 927May 10, 2017 1:36 pm Before - ugly side, tank, clothesline, no privacy... Will be showing hubby this one. Thanks Bec. I was trying to find one to buy but because I needed it to be a particular width and length it was really hard to find one to suit, so I gave hubs the go ahead to build one. The pallets were free. Found them on fb. Score! So happy with how it turned out. It will be nice to be able to start using our outdoor area at last. My Homeone Thread - Re: Hunter Valley Build -Post Handover Journey Begins :) 934May 15, 2017 11:38 am cat_dunc ohhh i love it. I'll be showing hubby too. Can you show another picture of the underneath and the legs please? Thanks Cat. I am so happy with it I will take some more photos of the legs and upload them for you. P.s. we scored a large pallet from bunnings over the weekend...not too sure what hubs has in mind but I'll post a pic once he is done. I've put my order in for some doggy beds...we'll see lol. I can take some more of the legs and underneath this weekend for you as we will be moving the table to clean the alfresco. The dogs mess it up something horrid! I am super stoked with the table, it's a perfect fit for the space. Hubs is so handy and clever. Next week we have been in our place 6 months and we still haven't had anyone around for maintenance. I am beyond frustrated with calling and emailing them every week with no response. I don't want to have to take this to fair trading but I feel like I have no choice. We had a quote to get our front yard scraped and turfed.... $2,500!!! I almost fell over! Most of our front yard is gardens so there's not that much ground left to be turfed. Thought we'd treat ourselves and pay to have it done so we could have a break 😣 It's going to cost us $1,500 to do it ourselves and that price includes $600 for a bobcat.
