Hopefully it`s all smooth sailing from here on in Thanks MrsJM. We can`t wait to move in. Where are you building at? My Homeone Thread - Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Plumbing 64Apr 29, 2016 7:27 am Any updates this week Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Plumbing 65Apr 30, 2016 5:15 am No updates this week Noelle. SS Said that the block would probably sit for a week and a half before slab went down as they are running a bit behind. Hopefully I`ll have some news next week. How are things going on your end? Nothing to report here either.... frames and windows are due to arrive Tuesday and booked for wed weather permitting. Then hopefully things will start to move again Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Plumbing 68May 09, 2016 8:12 am Thank Lozza. I can`t wait to see it all come together too, I hope it looks the same as it does in my head lol. We had an update from the builder on Friday to let us know that the concreters will be starting this week, so we may have a slab by the end of the week or early next week. Also, our lease ran out on Friday and that same day we had a call from a company who is coming to value the home today. Straight away I assumed that the owner must be selling so I started looking for other living arrangements. My dad`s girlfriend who is away holidaying with my dad until September has offered hubby and I to move in to her house rent free until our house is built. Most of our things will have to go into storage but it will save us paying another 6 months of rent on top of our new mortgage $$$. The only problem is that we will have to move 2 times. Most of our things are still packed away from when we moved into this rental (that was only meant to be a 6 month lease that has now turned into 12 months and then possibly another 6 months if we stay.) so it will be an easy move. Fun times are a coming My Homeone Thread - Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Plumbing 70May 09, 2016 8:22 am I`m dreading the move but it`s the right decision, especially if we are going to be able to save money.
