Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Selectio 22Apr 09, 2016 4:26 am We heard from Jacko on Thursday, he has our file now. Our block should be getting cut next week. He said that he would call us the arrange a meeting onsite I just checked your thread and things are happening quick for you! I bet it`s nice to actually see you new home in person and placed physically on you block. Even though we see it all on paper, it`s sometimes hard to imagine hey. Hopefully I`ll have a progress photo for you next week. Have a good weekend! You can stop calling QLD now, such a relief. Yes things are moving ridiculously fast with our home. It felt so good telling my MIL that we will be out in about 12 weeks. I almost cried telling her lol so damn happy. It was so different standing inside the home to looking from the fence. It really was great. I am looking forward to your progress pics 😉 Have a great weekend. Awesome jacko is also our SS and everything hes said has happened and when it was booked Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Selectio 25Apr 10, 2016 8:46 am Hubs and I have been looking at our plans this morning, discussing our landscaping and gardens. We are totally stoked that it`s finally happening, we`re so excited! Your frames look fantastic Pink, and you`ve got some decent space in your backyard too. I love the retaining wall too, it`s a nice feature. That`s good to here Noelle. I guess the hard part is over, now to enjoy the ride to the end My Homeone Thread - Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Selectio 26Apr 10, 2016 10:29 am I can't wait to see how you do your landscaping. Wish I had a green thumb lol. We were worried about our backyard size, but I think it looks decent enough. Those sandstone walls are beautiful. Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Selectio 27Apr 11, 2016 4:43 am I think being a green thumb is in my genes lol, I love working in the yard. The house that we are renting now only has a small garden out the front and I have filled it with my plants, which I`ll be digging out and taking them with me. Our neighbours thought that we owned this house with how well the lawn is looked after, hubs and I love it lol, BRING ON THE LANDSCAPING! My Homeone Thread - Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Selectio 28Apr 11, 2016 6:33 am Lol, that's great. I love seeing homes with beautiful landscaping. Thers a house near our block that has made such an effort, they have put fake turf up walls around the window & a beautiful metal patterned sheet for a feature above the window & a really old lamp post with 3 lights installed in their front yard. It looks unreal. Ours will probably just be turf & the garden Oracle provide haha! I sketched out where I want the retaining wall on the plans but I guess we`ll have to just wait and see what it actually looks like once the block is cut. Hubs and I have a bit of a different vision for the gardens lol. I`ll more than likely win that fight, hehe. FINALLY indeed. We are totally stoked! We`ve ended up with a flatter block at the back then expected so not much retaining there, but more retaining to do out the front. It will be a nice feature for our gardens though. The site is due to be pegged out this Friday, plumbing booked the following week and then slab after that My Homeone Thread - Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - Site cut 38Apr 13, 2016 3:58 pm Wow...never thought u would see the day...now watch how fast it goes. So happy for you ☺ Any advice on how to ensure the kit home granny flat that im thinking of buying will get council approval. The kit home companys wont release plans without a deposit and… 0 7362 thanks guys! yes this is how I've exactly raised it with the builder. still awaiting response. 12 6125 It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO. If in doubt find a contract… 1 8595 |
