No one has been onsite working for 20 days. The tiler has been delayed and I`m not too sure why the stone guy hasn`t been? The insurance for our job runs out in two day so I will be expecting a new certificate soon. I have my sister in law and niece coming to stay with us in December. I really hope that we are I by then. My Homeone Thread - Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - "Kitchen 488Sep 28, 2016 6:47 am I hope so too. I have been driving past and noticing no one is on site, but it's not svery nice giving you that bad news. I wonder what in earth the timer is going. That is a massive delay. Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - "Kitchen 489Sep 28, 2016 6:54 am Third_time_builder03 It's about 3 weeks off a year onsite!!! Absolutely ridiculous and there was so much **** not done!!! no door handle on bathroom no handle to turn shower on the drain in bathroom was full of broken concrete the front door locks from the inside only not the outside it was filthy concrete splatter over garage walls the laundry tub at the back where the pipes come in has no cover plate paint splatter over ALL kitchen cupboards!!! When you open overhead kitchen cupboards there is a gap there they didn't silicone them in. Jacko was supposed to come out Saturday mid morning to fix things and by midday he didn't show we called the office who called Bruce and he tried calling him over and over and Jacko wouldn't answer the phone, so Bruce drove down from Newcastle to fix a few things for us, if I had my time over I would demand to have Bruce be out site supervisor!!! Anyway there is literally so much more I will be writing a very informed email to head office this week That`s ridiculous, almost 12 months! I really hope that`s not us. Such a shame about the poor workmanship and lack of workmanship on your job. It sounds like a nightmare! Jacko is our SS and he has been pretty good to us. So far the work that has been done has all been good, I hope that it continues. We haven`t had a second walk through yet but nothing more has been done in 20 days due to the tiler running behind. I know that Jacko was off sick last week. I hope they come back and fix up all of the discrepancies for you. With your site start letter what date did they note down as your completion date Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - "Kitchen 491Sep 28, 2016 7:03 am Haha, we never received a site start letter. Great. My Homeone Thread - Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - "Kitchen 492Sep 28, 2016 7:03 am The good news is that we are getting a credit for the cabinets. Hubs thought that we`d be in by October, haha. I hope they get their butt into gear soon. Just wondering where everyone is getting their finish dates from? Or are you just working it out from the day they cut soil? With Coral, when we got our official start letter, with who our ss was etc it had our contract completion date on it. On our building contract we had the length of our build as well. I counted 140 working days from site cut date excluding long weekends etc. Re: Building at Chisholm NSW in The Hunter Valley - 497Sep 28, 2016 9:04 am Not sure about site start having completion date on it (different builder) but your co tract should have a completetion date on it i know ours does it was about 9 mo ths from start but they should be finished sooner. If not they start paying us. Noelle you'd be coming up to your date? Any advice on how to ensure the kit home granny flat that im thinking of buying will get council approval. The kit home companys wont release plans without a deposit and… 0 7114 thanks guys! yes this is how I've exactly raised it with the builder. still awaiting response. 12 6026 It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO. If in doubt find a contract… 1 8501 |
