Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 222Jul 12, 2017 8:41 pm Had a chance to speak to the foreman the other day, Works have started as I saw machines working today pumping out the water from the temporary drainage site they had. They will then be filling them up and continuing on with the works. I also noticed that they had shut the gate at the back which is unusual considering that stage 1 has titled? I also had a chance to speak to the real estate agent that is selling for the maples estate next door. They will be commencing work at the start of next year and aim to have stage 1 done by the end of 2018 which means entrance to heritage views can be made from there instead of having to go through greenvale gardens. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 223Jul 19, 2017 9:10 am Puppy33 I didn't know this forum existed glad I found it. I purchased land in stage 2 in heritage views in August 2016, I was told originally it would be titled on March 17, was then told August 17 I'm also frustrated with the slow progress of the development when I see other ones in the area move at a quicker pace. Kept in the dark!! I saw on Sunday more machines on site hope that means progress Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 226Jul 19, 2017 10:32 am I don't think it will be ready by then. I think if weather holds off they would need roughly 2-3 months. I am the block on the edge of stage 1 so its frustrating knowing that just next door people will start building very soon! What builder and build are you going for? Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 228Jul 19, 2017 10:40 am Mine is Lot 39 on Donatello Road, planning to go with a family friend who is a builder to try save some cost. I think it will be a nice area once it is all complete. Really keen to see stage 1 get up and going Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 230Jul 20, 2017 2:05 pm Hi Guys, I know the development is slow but as long as you don't hit the sunset clause its worth the wait. The development has been very slow since day one and out off frustration i started of the this forum so at least we all can keep in touch. I am in stage-1 and it looks like a lot of people in stage one are about to start very soon since i checked it out yesterday and quite a few of lots have the water tap in place. which usually goes in just before the start. I guess you guys from stage-2 need to keep the pressure on because what i can tell from Stage-1 they stop working round about Mid November. It would be good if Stage-2 can be up before that Good Luck Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 231Jul 20, 2017 2:12 pm Hi Spitfire, I had a chance to drive past today and check it out. There were at least 20 workers on site and about 7 machines working on stage 2. Hopefully that's a sign that they will keep working hard! Very keen to see stage 1 get up and going and see what the houses are like Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 232Jul 20, 2017 2:22 pm Hi spitfire Thanks for starting this forum I do hope stage 2 will be ready by November, I was told August be can't see that happening. I wish the people in stage 1 all the best with the building of their homes Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 237Aug 08, 2017 11:56 am Went on site on weekend. There are many lots that have started the construction in stage-1 and there is a lot up for auction on 19th. Stage2 got back on track ok .... but its again very slow now. Given the time frame they should have had started to put in the roads. Once the stage2 is complete it will take 8-10 weeks to complete the paper work with the council and get the completion certificate etc. So i don't see the point why they are so slow when compared with the reset of the estates around. Rex never has correct update > >Has anyone been able to get in touch with the developer directly? Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 238Aug 08, 2017 12:47 pm I was also there on the weekend good to see people starting It might be slow because the developer hasn't paid the subcontractor just one theory. it would be nice to start building this side of Christmas |
