Any news? Anyone buy back the land?
Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 142Feb 28, 2017 1:29 pm Guys, Firstly please update if you have any. Has anyone yet bought back the land whats happening. For those who have still got the land > Please get you finances ready there will be not much time once the titles come through in next week or two. If anyone wants you should be able to go and measure the land to confirm the size. Please note the pegs are two types you need to use the pegs that are NOT above the ground with you lot number on it. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 143Feb 28, 2017 2:08 pm spitfire, Impossible for the titles to come through in the next week or two as Council has not issued a Statement of Compliance as yet for the developer to lodge with Titles Office. I have seen a number of Builder house and land packages just come up on realestate.com.au for stage 1 lots, which I suspect are now available as a result of cancelled contracts. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 144Mar 01, 2017 9:27 am Hi All, I have spoken to someone in the council and can confirm that council also had their part as well in delaying this project. Apparently they are busy ..lol. I would request everyone to call Hume and register your feedback. We all are effected by this some to the point where they have lost their land and others who will if any more delays come on our way. We need to do is to call the Planning department to put pressure on them otherwise there might be another delay for estimated 4-6 weeks from council. Don't believe when Council says they will only take 2 weeks kindly multiply that by 4. Then add another 2 weeks for titles this may end up in May or June and lot of other people will be sitting without land. Hume Planning department (03) 9205 2802 https://www.hume.vic.gov.au/Building_Pl ... ubdivision Hume feedback (03 ) 9205 2200 also register written feed back at https://www.hume.vic.gov.au/Online_Form ... s_Feedback Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 145Mar 01, 2017 10:00 am Once you have titled there's usually a two weeks gap before settlement day, this is for yourselfs and the banks to get sorted. The title office averages 2 weeks for title but this also could blow out a little bit. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 149Mar 02, 2017 10:51 am Update > Spoke to council's planning dept and was told they have surveyed and are now Waiting on developer to sort out the things that have been pointed out. They were not giving any more info ie what is to be fixed etc. Can any one please chase up the Developer or Rex and find out what is happening. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 150Mar 02, 2017 2:05 pm Hi guys, Also spoke to the council and they confirmed what has been said in the comment above. At the moment the wait at the titles office is roughly 3 weeks according to the lady. She said council only takes a few days to finalize compliance. I wonder what some issues could be Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 152Mar 03, 2017 7:38 am Note to everyone, if you are thinking of purchasing land off the plan in future, make sure it's from a reputable large developer such as PEET, Frasers, Stockland. With these small time developers you encounter constant delays, poor communication and then a kick to the guts with them cancelling contracts under the sunset clause. Very distressing experience as a purchaser. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 156Mar 15, 2017 8:27 am Spoke to Rex about a week ago and he said that they are expecting titles within the next 2 weeks. There's still movement on site with workers on stage 1, they might be adjusting a few things. Stage two work is underway as drainage is being put in Greenvale Heritage Views 158Mar 15, 2017 8:50 am You can check to see if council compliance has been submitted and if titles have been lodged yourself on the SPEAR website all you need is the plan number, this is on your contract. https://www.y.land.vic.gov.au/spear/pub ... /Search.do Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 160Mar 16, 2017 8:19 am Update : > Statement of compliance has not been issued as suggested earlier.
