Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 13, 2016 5:51 pm Hey Guys, Just wondering if you could please shed some light regarding our Alfresco area. My fiancée and I are currently in the process of building our home and have added a 9m x 4m alfesco area with a concrete slab. Our thoughts were that we would like to tile the floor and add decking to the roof, but were unsure i guess of the overall installation cost and is there alot of ongoing mantenience? I understand that I would require a quote to determine the cost, however just thought id ask for those who have done something like this themselves and to obtain your overall review? Any help would be greatly appreciated Re: Decking the Alfresco Ceiling 2Mar 13, 2016 6:26 pm We were quoted about $2600 to have our alfresco ceiling timber lined.... It's about 3-4 X 6m roughly. As for maintenance... Not something I have actually asked about. I am not near the ocean...
