Around October last year QLD merged with NSW, alot of staff left the company & this lead to massive delays. Timeframes provided to us were blown out & they took weeks to get back to you to find out what wasn't going on. It was very stressful when things didn't happen when they said it would & constantly calling to get any sort of update. My timeline is accurate so you can decide for yourself ☺
Now once our site has been cut, things finally seem to be moving along & I couldn't be happier. We met our SS and he is fantastic, he offered for us to watch them cut our site so I took our little man & we watched the digger on our site! It was such a great day. Fingers crossed ? Made me so happy Hi Jamie Lee, very exciting isn't it. Yes we are building with oracle and have had no dramas or issues so far. We are building the same house you guys have chosen and Alan is our site supervisor too. Which street are you building on? Every stage so far has been completed ahead of time touch wood lol. We have been very happy with the whole thing and can't wait to move in. Re: Oracle Advantage Plus - 1st build 12Mar 13, 2016 11:19 am Were building the advantage 196 they have chosen the same colour board as us too so his offered for us to go have a peek inside next time we're out there ? He sent me a pic I can put up we both chose the urban colour board. The only difference is we upgraded the exterior to metro and changed our brick colour that wasn't in any of the ranges at same cost and we got grey walls with white trimmings and also got 2 cut outs in the wall where the kids retreat is they were the only changes we made. Re: Oracle Advantage Plus - 1st build 14Mar 13, 2016 12:46 pm You were very lucky to be able to change your colours! We were not allowed. That's great the same home is being built & you are able to see what you will be getting, colours and all!! As you probably seen we are building the 233, we only made minimal changes too. We extended the ensuite shower & alfresco & added a walk in pantry. Our colours are as per the board as we couldn't change anything, that's why it took us 5months to decide on colours after signing our contract lol! There is someone here in qld who built same house as me, I will add his thread. He had a fantastic experience. viewtopic.php?t=76789 My internal colours will be the same as this thread except we will have brown gloss floor tiles. Re: Oracle Advantage Plus - 1st build 15Mar 13, 2016 1:47 pm I wanted gloss floor tiles too! We ended up settling for what was on the board.. Yep that's the urban theme! Looks nice complete ? Yeh we were lucky with the brick colour it's called eclipse as we wanted a dark brick but none of the options had dark brick how do you upload photos on here? Re: Oracle Advantage Plus - 1st build 16Mar 13, 2016 1:50 pm I didn't want the gloss floor tiles but I wanted the light kitchen lol. NSW colour boards are a little different to QLD for some reason. I think woodchip was the darkest brick we got to choose from. I use Tapatalk which is easy to upload pics, its an app you download 😊 Re: Oracle Advantage Plus - 1st build 18Mar 13, 2016 5:18 pm Found it You are moving forward -yay! My Homeone Thread - 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6148 We are building a house that was planned to be clad in Hardie Linea, our builder has now requested to swap this for BGC Nuline Plus.
