The cabinets have been put in and it looks like the tiling will be started soon. Frustratingly, i have only now just realised that the windows in the main bathroom and toilet are not central to the walls they are in, which is the same on the plans. I thought this would have been a standard thing to do, i wonder if it is just lazyness of them not caring, or if there is an actual reason to them not being centred. Our tiling meeting was with the ss and head tiler, only the tiler had a very strong accent and i couldn't understand a word he was saying. Everything had to be explained by the ss for me to understand so our meeting wasn't very productive. The tiler and his team worked over the next couple of days and the weekend, only for me to see some issues with the tiles above and below the vanity not lining up. I had to arrange a second meeting, this time i took my dad and we got them to fix up all the problems. It even turned out that they hadn't read the plans correctly to see that the main wc was to have 1m tiling and they didn't order enough tiles, until I pointed this out at the second meeting. Nw it looks like they have fixed up all the issues, but I'm not 100% sure.
