Looking at the block too, it may have been a requirement in which case its a plus that they built it, it could mean you dont have to input any money for or towards it. Re: Who's building in Capestone, Mango Hill ? 49Jul 06, 2016 3:25 pm Hi guys, i've bought a corner plot in the Gilmour Release as well as at MHill. Settlement has been completed, but we are yet to finalize on the builder. Currently inclined towards Clarendon, but keeping my options open. Nice to see a thread with other future neighbours to be. Nice! Which lot? We are 1432 and are moving through the motions with Plantation to build a skightly altered Vienna. Settlement all occured last week and are just waiting for the fences to come down to do our engineers report and to get the build process moving! The ones in that series were on our wishlist, too bad they were all gone by the time we got around to them. LOL. We're at 1446. I spoke to the sales team last weekend and they mentioned the fences should be down by this Friday, so looking forward to seeing the land we ended up buying based on a brochure. We have been told the same day for fences down so cross fingers it happens! We are very pleased with our block- took us 6 months to finally get a good one! Corner lot can be great too though- lots of extra room down the sides Plantation Homes Vienna Q1 Build Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83971 Blog: https://plantationviennabuild.wordpress.com Re: Who's building in Capestone, Mango Hill ? 53Jul 06, 2016 7:38 pm Great to see fellow mangoers! I hope that Capestone provide the ASCON reports quickly. We are building in stage 9 and it took them close to a month to provide the ASCON reports. This delayed the start of our build. Corner plots would also allow for greater light and ventilation since you wouldn't be dwarfed by houses on both sides. Atleast that's the reasoning we used. hehe Re: Who's building in Capestone, Mango Hill ? 56Jul 07, 2016 10:28 am qldben Corner plots would also allow for greater light and ventilation since you wouldn't be dwarfed by houses on both sides. I'm glad we didn't wait for the later stages and very happy with the corner lot we got. Corner lots rule! We're in stage 5, moved in November last year and still have no yard! Will get there eventually. Re: Who's building in Capestone, Mango Hill ? 57Jul 07, 2016 2:50 pm lazybones1987 Great to see fellow mangoers! I hope that Capestone provide the ASCON reports quickly. It's great to see so many capstoners popping up! We have decided to start our own thread/blog to track our progress, feel free to follow as we add more Plantation Homes Vienna Q1 Build Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83971 Blog: https://plantationviennabuild.wordpress.com Re: Who's building in Capestone, Mango Hill ? 58Jul 07, 2016 4:11 pm manderinne Corner lots rule! Despite the harrowing times in between, am glad to see it all turned out well. The house looks fantastic in those pics you posted! The built in shelves in the library are a masterstroke! The WIR looks really great too! If it's not too much to ask for, how much did the WIR set you back by? Between, we've both got corner plots of the same dimension, I wish i wont need to build any retaining walls. Re: Who's building in Capestone, Mango Hill ? 59Jul 07, 2016 7:58 pm I got my first rate notice today. Interestingly, the council have valued the land about $45K less than what I paid for the land. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Howdy all. I am looking for feedback on what people would do to maximise and make an area as flat as possible. I will just wait and see I guess. Trying to get some more information from our builder. 9 29919 |
