I need to find out more! What I don't understand is why an H1 slab is 2 to 3 times thicker (so that justifies the extra cost), but it's got the polystyrene foam in it (I guess that means they can use less concrete?) So why is the price increase so much?
Another thing.. i'd be a bit scared to use a jack to lift the car in the garage to do maintenance work on it. What if you jack goes through the floor, due to parts being so thin?
I agree I had a client who lays carpet say they were hammering the edges in and his hammer went straight through a slab :/
If they're breaking through the slab laying carpet, it'll be a poorly executed slab that is the problem not because of it being a waffle pod slab.
