I think the electrical prep has started. The house has been wrapped and the bricklayer will be starting soon.. OK, I said, but the brickwork is nearly done The gyprock has been delivered and will go up shortly It seems like the gyprock is installed already, I said. The 2nd fix carpenter will be starting soon to secure the house so the kitchen can be delivered in the next few weeks. And then takes about 3 days to install. So that's great news Building a Fairmont Custom in Seaford Meadows Our Build Thread Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Brickwork! 186Sep 14, 2016 2:07 pm I'm confused (it doesn't take much, I know) does t wrapping go under bricks? Great news about the kitchen though, I'm most excited to see your kitchen, your choices are so nice Building with Simonds in S.A Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Brickwork! 187Sep 14, 2016 3:10 pm They usually wrap the house before they put the bricks on. Seems like their information is about a month out of date The plastic wrap is usually to cover the house from the elements so they can start work inside before the walls go up. There is also sarking which is a bit more robust and actually has some insulation benefits Building a Fairmont Custom in Seaford Meadows Our Build Thread Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Brickwork! 188Sep 15, 2016 12:04 pm The interiors super exciting and more fun to watch than dirt being moved around. Although I can't wait to see that! Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Brickwork! 189Sep 23, 2016 12:38 pm We went to have a look yesterday. Bay window is all bricked. Such selfish people don't realise the delays they cause. Meanwhile mine still week away maybe more. Really don't understand why everything takes so long! They look great! Building in Springlake Mount Barker SA Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Lockup! 197Sep 28, 2016 1:12 pm They are in the standard range, but we did opt for the white sand + white mortar (+$1000) after seeing it on display at the Plympton display home. Keep in mind that this brick has just changed in the last few months so be sure to see the 'newer' version of it.
