We are pushing for some idea of PCI but they are ignoring us. The SS has just emailed us back stating that tiling should finish this week or next week and painting should start after that. That is what he emailed three weeks ago. FUMING Poor husband putting up with my impatience! Oh that's terrible I would be the same hope tiling "is" finished this week and painting started this week too Re: Coral Homes - Modified Bronte 703Sep 19, 2017 6:42 am You aren't impatient. You have been very patient and controlled. I would have (and in fact, I did!) lost my poo on a daily basis. It's soooo frustrating and actually painful not getting any real response or direction out of anyone. I tried for a long time not to be the squeaky wheel as it isn't in my nature- but in the end it was only jumping up and down and stamping my feet that got the attention of coral and got us in before Xmas (albeit with a list of defects as long as the Nile)! Once they start painting surely it's home stretch... your kitchen and stone is in- that's what held us up at the end. SS making it hard for shutter people to go on site for measuring. Can't wait to see the back of this build. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4342 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74701 |
