Time to start squeaking CL, your need to be in by Christmas. Re: Coral Homes - Modified Bronte 722Oct 05, 2017 6:32 am Good luck for today. Remember you can be amicable but still firm which you have every right to be. Don't worry about throwing your ss under the bus. He needs to be held to account. Funny how you get an update from him as you're about to meet with the State Mgr! Hmmmm.... the SM talks the talk...he was on top of it!!!! No sign of the SS. Did not dis him totally because some issues have been resolved BUT his communication has been terrible. The Sm asked "so are you hearing from him regularly with weekly updates?". SAY WHAT???? Anyway SM will be contacting the trades personally and getting a list organised and PCI and Handover dates in the next couple of days. PCI is forecast to be in 3 to 4 weeks. It took us about 1.5 hrs this morning to go through. He was very apologetic about the delay. Funnily enough balcony balustrade and privacy screen turned up. Size of panel was out and SM told them that if they tried to install it inside rather than on the edge as per plan it would look like a mistake so in the end they apologised and took it away for resizing. Now we wait... PCI in three weeks is very exciting indeed! He has to confirm it yet so I need to hold my '"YAYS'" in Funny though he did mention that he is going back to Sydney on Monday as he has to over see some jobs down there.... When we were in the kitchen he went to great lengths to explain to us that kitchen companies do use acetone too give their Caesarstone bench tops a final clean. Apparently he had to research and confirm these facts with several companies .... Did you have to do a survey on Coral (I think it was about his service) after he came and met with you? We received one a few hours after we had our meeting but I haven't opened it yet. Hahaha re the acetone- that's because stone company ruined my benchtop by applying acetone - literally pools of it- and it has stripped the protective coating off as ceaserstone told me it would!! Looks like they are trying to prep everyone for garbage. I haven't got any surveys. But I think they know better than to ask for my opinion on anything. Our tiles are no more. Tiles have been damaged and they do not have anymore. We have to re-select on Tuesday at the earliest. WTF. Ok. Let's think positive for a sec. We know that they simply have to replace the laundry tiles with whatever you select. That's only fair and reasonable. Second- I've just looked back at your kitchen photos and I think I've seen lots of tiles at Beaumont that will look beautiful. I think aura putty from memory was very similar to the colour that your island bench looks in that pic- what about something in that same tone but a bit lighter than the putty tile to really make your island pop? Can you be my SS?????? Yeah trying to find something online we've narrowed it down to a few we think may work. It's hard to tell online but they keep in with the same beigey/grey tones. Just have to see them in real life. We received a confirmation email and in it it states that the tiles have to be in stock and available for immediate dispatch. We won't be paying this payment either! It's the one on the left. In person it throws beige. And it's not flat but the character in the tile won't compete with the caeserstone... Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13773 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4348 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74709 |
