I'm debating pursuing penalties against my builder, was expecting to handover next week, but now sounds like they aren't ready ;-; so feeling your frustration. If you have it in your contract they will eventually cough it up. I wonder if they can block me on that?! Can't stop me '#coralhomes' (once I figure out how to use Instagram lol). I feel for you CL Everything going slow is one thing but it sounds like your build is trending the way ours did- incompetent Ss, mistakes that now need to be fixed and having to be on top of everything. I did think AR was good but it's been weeks now and I haven't heard anything back. Everyone just seems to put everything in the too hard basket. So when there is a fan and (when we eventually) decking, we will hit our heads on it. (Ok maybe I'm not that tall...) Anyway they have agreed to redoing it. Hope they get things moving for you now Re: Coral Homes - Modified Bronte 634Jul 29, 2017 8:07 am Just having a bit of a 'conniption'...does anyone's shower hob stick up this much? Is it normal? I was under the impression that the shower screen would sit basically on the floor tiles. This looks like we'll have to step over it. The garage beam has been pulled out and out the right way up. The walls/gyprock not meeting between upstairs and downstairs in void has been improved, gyprock has been pulled down from walls and bracing replaced as it should have been, steel beam has been put in place (what a huge job that would have been). None of this was picked up by Coral. Lucky hubby sent an email. Also stairs are in, doors and architraves delivered. Wonder when we'll be locked out??? Now if they could fix the alfresco ceiling... It looks amazing! I love the stair case. What colour stain? How much have they lowered your alfresco by? They stuffed ours too- we lost 300mm that we had paid for! Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
