Kitchen or stairs? Yes, they are pretty. Would be nice for the void but don't know where to get them from and don't think I could warrant the expense. They are on display at Denfair. https://www.houzz.com.au/photos/95127324/denfair-2017 Plus we have the Venezia 21 for the void. Hence the problem...do get things early or wait till it's too late? First world probs. I've found some amazing lights but the prices are stupidity for the real deal. If you love it and it's a good price buy it, I'm taking that approach now too. I'm a sit back and save person but I'm trying to be a bit more spontaneous . We only get a few opportunities to build and create something amazing so enjoy it Re: Coral Homes - Modified Bronte 528Jun 17, 2017 9:37 am Apparently, according to our contract, we have only about 18 days to go I crack me up!!!! Vents for downstairs bathroom and rangehood have been put in. Frame inspection supposedly tomorrow. I sent an email to our BSO requesting an updated construction schedule (not that we had one previously). No response, so tonight I sent a gentle reminder that we are still waiting and I also included the ABM. Just a gentle nudge... We are not getting private inspections, however, my better half has been in the industry and checks things quite thoroughly. We're pretty happy with the work...when any actually gets done. Just gotta be patient but yeah I will follow up on the 'Call forward' info. Thank you. Insulation people informed us that they would be coming Thursday and they were told that frame inspection on Monday, tomorrow. This is what I got back on Thursday: "My apologies I meant to let you know I escalated your concern through to the Area Building Manager S R for his review and advice. I have contacted [...] this afternoon and he has asked me to advise you that he will contact you to speak to you direct about the delays and progress of construction if not today then tomorrow at the latest. The contract time is for 217 days of which Practical Completion is due 30/06/17." Haven't heard a thing... Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13781 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4357 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74717 |
