Not boring at all. A nice neutral/coastal tone. We too have selected PGH Stone. I thought the Stone colour looked to be an easy brick to coordinate everything else with ... trying to compliment the roof/gutter/rainwater tank/planking/driveway was overwhelming! We've only just had our frame delivered, but I'll be thrilled if our brickwork looks like yours. Love watching your progress. Definitely not Coral's strong point! At least your roof has been on to protect most of the flooring. I don't know whether it does much harm or contributes to squeaking but I never liked the way my frames were exposed to the elements for so many months. Are you getting much communication from the SS? We did get solar panels and steel scaffold. Bad weather predicted so I'm predicting not much going to be done. Electrician was going in early this week and air conditioning booked for next week. Seriously- how is there more rain up there still to come?! How's the drainage on your site when it's wet? I lost count of how many pairs of shoes I ruined onsite. At least the scaffold is up ready for the next fine day. Having that put up and down (and then back up and down and up and down lol) was a pain for us because of delays. At least if there's a day where the rain holds off they will be up there quick smart. They will probably be busting to get yours done as they would have other queued up after you so you might be surprised. My brickies were onsite in drizzle. Was only if we had torrential rain they packed up. C U S T O M. C O R A L. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4342 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74701 |
