Will have lights on tomorrow. PCI is 17/11 and handover 11/12. We told them weeks ago that we would not be here. They still booked in PCI on that date and will not change it. Apparently we don't need to be there as the State Manager and SS will be walking through it. Our walk through will be 28/11. Yes, this is ticking us off, BUT, hubby was in there today (with the lift) and had a look around....it was pretty good. Mind you the didn't know that the tiles had been sitting in the garage for two weeks and that the laundry tiles have to be smashed out and relaid. Lucky the SS the turned up so hubby could fill him in on some of the jobs that needed to be sorted. Omg it's all coming together! On the home straight to PCI! I'm so happy for you. But if you had have asked me a year ago there's no way I would have believed when I moved in that it would be almost Xmas again before the next Bronte rolled off the production line. You've done a wonderful job staying sane and dealing with things. You should be proud. You don't think they will be done it's hard to see but I'm sure your house is quite big Yeah I know, not much is done when it's supposed to be. SS said tiler will finish on Saturday. Air-con goes in on Friday. Not sure whether they will be able to access all areas. What else besides aircon do you have to get done? Roof tiles capping, valley and flashing needs to be completed (that's only been 9 months), water tank and pump to be connected (supposed to be done last week), balcony balustrade (a month ago), carpet (next week), gas and data fit off and oven needs to be connected. Oh, yes, and a massive clean up. Nearly there... Where are you at? Kitchen is now in and bathroom and laundry cabinetry is in but apparently we are up to tiling the wet rooms so we will see. I'm curious to know when the outdoor areas/porch are meant to be completed as I'm sure once tiling is done they will ask for their next progress payment I want things completed before they get more of my money. Re: Coral Homes - Modified Bronte 795Oct 31, 2017 8:28 pm Tiles are looking great my fingers are also crossed it all gets done quickly Re: Coral Homes - Modified Bronte 796Oct 31, 2017 8:52 pm Wow wow wow wow!!! Stunning! The polished makes it all look so big and spacious! Totally wishing I went polished tiles now after seeing yours! You might be surprised how much they get through tomorrow. I remember I was really surprised after day one, how fast it went after all the fiddle setting out was done. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
